Tonight I leave to head to Lubbock, TX (how I managed to plan 2 trips to the armpit of America in the same year baffles me) to coach and cheer on the CU Triathlon Team to a victory at collegiate nationals. It has been one heck of a year coaching these amazing students with head coach Mike Ricci and fellow assistant coach Melissa. It'll be a blast to see it all come to fruition in their biggest race of the year.
The race takes place on Saturday and we're fitter than last year when we took 3rd. There are some strong teams coming to compete but based on how we did at regionals a few weeks back it looks like we'll be in the mix for a win. We're pulling strong for our current National Champion Jessica Broderick to bring home another win as well.
